- 1 lb ground beef or ground pork
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, and sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste in a large bowl.
- Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing mayonnaise, gochujang, rice vinegar, and sugar in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve the meatballs hot with the spicy mayo dip on the side.
Notes
Ensure meatballs are evenly sized for consistent cooking. Feel free to adjust the spiciness of the dip to your preference.
