Description

A cozy casserole filled with shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, creamy cheese, and jalapeños that is perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 2 cups cooked rice or pasta
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half of the shredded cheese, diced jalapeños, and cooked rice or pasta. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Top the casserole with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
