- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- Chocolate chips (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- Combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Add the chopped nuts if using and fold them in.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool completely in the pan.
- Garnish with melted chocolate chips if desired.
Notes
For best results, use fresh shredded coconut and allow bars to cool completely before cutting.
