Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Chocolate chips (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. Combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the chopped nuts if using and fold them in.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely in the pan.
  7. Garnish with melted chocolate chips if desired.
