Description

A delightful twist on the classic BLT featuring grilled chicken and a tangy honey mustard dressing.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Brush the honey mustard mixture generously over the cooked chicken and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by layering the chicken, bacon, Romaine lettuce, and sliced tomatoes between your choice of bread.
  8. Serve with extra honey mustard dressing on the side.
