- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pita bread
- Lettuce, sliced
- Tomato, sliced
- Cucumber, sliced
- Tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together ground meat, onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties or logs.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the meat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- While the meat cooks, warm your pita bread on the grill or in a skillet for a minute or so until warm and pliable.
- To serve, place the cooked meat in a warm pita with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.
