Description

Delicious chicken tenders coated in sourdough breadcrumbs, perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup sourdough bread crumbs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat the marinated chicken tenders in the flour mixture, dip them back into the buttermilk, then coat with sourdough bread crumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
