Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Animal-shaped cookie cutters

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add in the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  6. Use animal-shaped cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes.
  7. Place the cutouts onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let them cool before enjoying.
