Description

A twist on the classic baked potato topped with creamy feta and fresh herbs, offering a delightful balance of flavors and textures.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 200g feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly, then pierce each one several times with a fork.
  3. Rub the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, or until tender.
  5. Remove the potatoes from the oven and slice a slit on top of each one.
  6. Crumble the feta cheese generously on top of the potatoes.
  7. Return the potatoes to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Choose firm, unbruised potatoes for the best texture. Feel free to experiment with different herbs or spices.
