- 4 Hawaiian rolls
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite type)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Optional: add-ins such as ham, turkey, or seasonings
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each Hawaiian roll.
- Assemble the sandwich with cheese slices between two pieces of Hawaiian rolls, buttered side out.
- Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and gooey.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and enjoy!
Notes
Pairs well with a light salad or warm tomato soup. Store leftovers tightly wrapped in the fridge for up to 2 days.
