Description

A comforting dish of tortilla chips coated in vibrant green salsa, topped with fried eggs, avocado, and Cotija cheese.

Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips
  • Green salsa (salsa verde)
  • Eggs
  • Sour cream
  • Avocado
  • Cotija cheese
  • Cilantro
  • Onion
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the salsa in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the tortilla chips and stir to coat. Cook until the chips are softened but still slightly crispy.
  2. Fry the eggs in a separate pan to your liking.
  3. Assemble the chilaquiles topped with fried eggs, sour cream, sliced avocado, crumbled Cotija, chopped cilantro, and diced onion.
  4. Season with salt to taste and enjoy!

Notes

For crispy chips, avoid soaking them in salsa for too long. Feel free to customize the toppings and sauces to your liking.
