Description

A simple and delightful recipe for Greek Yogurt Turkish Flatbread that is fluffy, slightly tangy, and perfect for serving with dips or wraps.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt and olive oil into the dry mixture. Stir until a dough starts to form.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
  5. After resting, divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball out into flatbreads about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

These flatbreads can be served with hummus, tabbouleh, or tzatziki. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
