Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita bread or hamburger buns
- Tzatziki sauce for serving
- Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, feta cheese, olives, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and carefully form patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Serve the patties on pita bread or hamburger buns topped with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
