Description

Delicious Greek Burgers made with savory beef or lamb, tangy feta, and Kalamata olives, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread or hamburger buns
  • Tzatziki sauce for serving
  • Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for toppings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb, feta cheese, olives, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and carefully form patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. Serve the patties on pita bread or hamburger buns topped with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
