Description

A flavorful and comforting dish featuring shrimp seared in garlic butter served over aromatic rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and sauté garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the rice and paprika, cooking for another minute to toast the rice.
  3. Combine the chicken broth with the rice mixture, bringing it to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Prepare the shrimp in another skillet by melting the remaining butter and cooking the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Assemble the dish by serving the fluffy rice with shrimp on top and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Fresh shrimp is recommended for the best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste and try adding vegetables for extra nutrients.
