A comforting and flavorful twist on the classic grilled cheese using garlic bread and melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 slices of garlic bread
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- Butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread.
- Place two slices of garlic bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Add the cheese slices on top of the bread.
- Top with the remaining slices of garlic bread, buttered side up.
- Grill until golden brown on one side, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and grill the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, cut in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Pair with tomato soup or a salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
