- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Cooked rice for serving
- Steamed broccoli for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté the beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
- Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Assemble your bowl by serving the beef over rice and topping with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Optional: Add steamed broccoli on the side.
Notes
For added flavor, use high-quality soy sauce and sesame oil. Adjust the brown sugar to your sweetness preference.
