- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1 1/2 cups (225g) fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the milk, mixing gently until just combined.
- Fold in the blackberries gently to keep them intact.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
