Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup croissant dough (or pre-made croissants)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt and whisk together.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and egg.
  4. Stir the active dry yeast into the milk mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a rough dough forms.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes).
  7. Fold in the pre-made croissant dough.
  8. Transfer the dough into a greased loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before moving it to a wire rack.
