Description

A delightful side dish of fresh green beans roasted until crispy and enhanced with garlic and Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and trim the green beans, removing any woody ends.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the green beans on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until crispy and tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. You can customize with nuts or different cheeses.
