Instructions

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, combining until just mixed; avoid overmixing to keep your waffles fluffy.
  2. Season the chicken strips thorough with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat enough oil over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, carefully add the chicken strips. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Follow your waffle iron’s instructions to pour in the batter and cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
