- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 12 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 lime (juiced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it’s nice and hot for those delicious tacos.
- Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until it’s beautifully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning to the skillet and mix it well with the turkey until evenly coated.
- Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by mashing the avocado and mixing it with Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Fill the tortillas with a portion of the turkey mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
- Bake the tacos in the oven for about 15 minutes until they’re crispy and golden brown.
- Serve the tacos hot with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and a drizzle of avocado sauce on top.
Notes
Double the recipe for larger gatherings; customize toppings with jalapeños, cilantro, or pickled onions.
