Description

Deliciously crispy tacos filled with spiced ground turkey and topped with creamy avocado sauce for a perfect weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it’s nice and hot for those delicious tacos.
  2. Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until it’s beautifully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the skillet and mix it well with the turkey until evenly coated.
  4. Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by mashing the avocado and mixing it with Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill the tortillas with a portion of the turkey mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  6. Bake the tacos in the oven for about 15 minutes until they’re crispy and golden brown.
  7. Serve the tacos hot with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and a drizzle of avocado sauce on top.

Notes

Double the recipe for larger gatherings; customize toppings with jalapeños, cilantro, or pickled onions.
