Description

A guilt-free version of crispy, golden brown chicken breasts made in the air fryer for a quick and healthy meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Create a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge the chicken in flour.
  5. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs.
  6. Coat the chicken with breadcrumbs.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  8. Place the breaded chicken in the basket.
  9. Spray the tops of the chicken with more cooking spray.
  10. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  11. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  12. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or roasted veggies for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
