Description

A comforting and flavorful enchilada recipe with tender shredded chicken enveloped in a creamy sauce and topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 1 can green enchilada sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Assemble each tortilla with a generous portion of the chicken mixture and roll it up tightly.
  4. Prepare a baking dish by pouring a layer of green enchilada sauce at the bottom.
  5. Nestle the rolled tortillas seam side down in the dish.
  6. Blanket the rolled tortillas with the remaining enchilada sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
