Description

A delightful creamy pasta dish combining garlic, tomatoes, and rich heavy cream, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any variety)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add diced tomatoes (with juice) and Italian seasoning, and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For extra flavor, use fresh herbs instead of dried and consider adding sautéed vegetables or proteins.
