- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, Dijon mustard, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in frozen peas and half of the grated cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Top the casserole with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly, and cheese is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
