A delightful twist on the classic muddy buddies, combining crunchy rice cereal with creamy cookie butter and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 4 cups rice cereal
- 1 cup cookie butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, measure out 4 cups of rice cereal and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of cookie butter, 1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips, and 1/4 cup of butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the melted mixture.
- Pour the melted mixture over the rice cereal and gently stir until all the cereal is coated.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of powdered sugar and the coated cereal. Shake vigorously to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it cool.
- Once cool, break the mixture into pieces and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra texture.
