- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar for coating
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for coating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until combined.
- In another bowl, beat together the sugar, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- While warm, brush the top with melted butter and coat with a mix of sugar and cinnamon.
Notes
Don’t overmix for a light and fluffy texture. You can also add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor.
