Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, and sauté until tender (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in the Marsala wine and chicken broth; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, cooked rice or pasta, heavy cream, onion powder, salt, and pepper; stir well to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
