- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cooked rice or pasta
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, and sauté until tender (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in the Marsala wine and chicken broth; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken, cooked rice or pasta, heavy cream, onion powder, salt, and pepper; stir well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
