Description

Delicious and chewy homemade granola bars packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for snacks or quick breakfasts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (such as cranberries or raisins)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, salt, chopped nuts, and dried fruit.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the honey (or maple syrup) and peanut butter, then heat gently until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to compact it.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
