Description

A delightful side dish that combines crispy bacon with tender broccoli and a punchy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on a paper towel, keeping the drippings.
  2. If needed, add olive oil to the skillet and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still bright and crunchy.
  4. Crumble the cooked bacon into pieces and add it back to the skillet. Mix well with the broccoli and garlic.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and if desired, drizzle in soy sauce.
  6. For a kick of spice, sprinkle in red pepper flakes to taste.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy this delicious side dish!
