- 1 pound broccoli florets
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on a paper towel, keeping the drippings.
- If needed, add olive oil to the skillet and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still bright and crunchy.
- Crumble the cooked bacon into pieces and add it back to the skillet. Mix well with the broccoli and garlic.
- Season with salt and pepper, and if desired, drizzle in soy sauce.
- For a kick of spice, sprinkle in red pepper flakes to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy this delicious side dish!
