Description

A comforting one-pot dish combining pasta, fresh broccoli, and gooey melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Give it a gentle stir to mix everything together.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and add the cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Adjust to your taste.
  6. Serve warm, enjoying the smiles it brings!
