- 8 oz pasta of choice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli florets to the pasta water. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Give it a gentle stir to mix everything together.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add the cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Adjust to your taste.
- Serve warm, enjoying the smiles it brings!
Notes
