- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
