- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 4 slices of bread
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
- Tomato slices (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the tuna mixture generously onto two slices of bread.
- Layer cucumber slices, lettuce leaves, and tomato slices on top of the tuna.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure to drain the tuna well to avoid a soggy sandwich. For a zesty kick, squeeze a bit of lemon juice into your tuna mixture.
