Ingredients
- Croissant dough
- Ham slices
- Cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)
- Butter
- Egg (for egg wash)
- Mustard (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the croissant dough on a clean surface and cut it into triangles.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the point to form a classic croissant shape.
- Place the rolled croissants onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt some butter and combine it with an egg for the egg wash.
- Brush the tops of the croissants with this mixture for a shiny, golden finish.
- Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they’re beautifully golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, allow them to cool for a minute. Serve warm, optionally with mustard on the side.
