Description

Delicious bites of fluffy apple fritters dusted with powdered sugar, perfect for autumn mornings or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the diced apples.
  4. Heat enough oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Once golden, remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar.
