A cozy and comforting apple crumble, perfect for autumn gatherings.
Ingredients

- 4–5 sweet apples, chopped
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (for topping)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp water (optional)
Instructions
- Chop the apples into small cubes and sauté them with coconut oil, cinnamon, and salt in a pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180C/350F.
- In a food processor, mix the oats, pecans, remaining coconut oil, honey, and water until crumbly.
- Grease or line a baking pan, then spread the sautéed apples evenly across the bottom.
- Form the crumble mixture into larger crumbs and sprinkle it over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For added crunch, experiment with different nuts. This crumble is delicious with yogurt or ice cream.
