Description

Delightful bite-sized apple crisp treats, capturing the warmth of fall in a simple, shareable form.


Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. If desired, add chopped nuts and mix again.
  5. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish and pour the mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the apples are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a bit before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge.
